Frenchton CDDY vs. IVDD Research Project
Originally it was assumed Frenchtons would be free of the IVDD that plagues frenchies. As the breed grew in popularity it became apparent that that IS NOT correct. With the discovery of the CDDY gene in 2019/2020, we are now able to TEST ALL DOGS and determine number of copies, and HOPEFULLY what rate Frenchtons are affected.
