8 Week old Update

Isabella (Pearl) was quickly scooped up by a couple who had been petless many months after losing their pug to old age. They decided now was the time to fill that void and Isabella was love at first sight! I think she agreed! And it APPEARS that she is in fact showcasing her tan points gene under her sable coat!

6 week Update:

Isabella is finally has her ears up, but she’s a very smart girl and figured out the potty bell VERY quickly, preferring to rip it off the wall and take it with her just in case! She LOVES face snuggles and enjoys playing with her siblings. She is still the largest female, second largest puppy in the litter.

Her sable coloring is quite unique, showing BOTH mask AND tan points due to her sable coloring. Her coat colors is tricky to get on camera, it glows white with a shadow effect, and the brown reflects through like a whisper. I’ll be interested to see how she matures!

She had a REALLY hard time sitting still for photos!

3 week update:

Isabella is STILL the biggest girl by a landslide! She has PILES of skin rolls on her neck and still loves to sleep! Her back is her favorite position. She likes to vocalize her concern over life and is a bit nervous being snuggled by new people she doesn’t know. She also suddenly realize her legs work REALLY WELL when a camera is involved and made several mad attempts to leave the set and explore (resulting in only 3 usable photos out of 20!)

1 Week Old Update:

Isabella is the BIGGEST girl in the litter, second total to her brother Creed. Body-wise, she will be a lot like her mother, though a bit smaller. She is VERY QUIET and never fusses. She is SO LAID BACK she fell asleep on the sofa for photos! Isabella will likely enjoy a bit of play but not enjoy rough-housing. She will be well suited for walks and outdoor activity due to her build but not enjoy an agility course and happier sniffling a flower than chasing a ball. A warm lap and soft pets will be her favorite place!
