Carl and Ginger

A “Frenchton” is a 50/50 or 75/25 cross of a Frenchbull dog to a Boston terrier.

This is one of many planned inter breedings to result in a “designer dog”. But unlike many designer dogs (such as poodles to labs or “Labradoodles”), this specialty cross is designed to ELIMINATE most problem areas in both breeds. Many designer dogs have their own set of NEW issues (labradoodles have awful undercoats that are hard to manage).

Not so with Frenchtons.

French bulldogs are adorable, but they are lazy, have hip issues and cannot give birth naturally. Boston Terriers are full of energy, and often difficult to control (they often end up in the next zipcode).

Meet the “Frenchton”. This specialized breeding offers the look of a french bulldog with more energy, and fewer hip problems, resulting in puppies that are able to be birthed naturally and come in a wide array of colors and ready for play throughout their adult life!
